Not simply the joining of two people, marriage is the intimate union of three – God at the center – in a lifetime covenant of love, fidelity, and mutual support. Through God’s grace, the steadfast and selfless love between husband and wife becomes symbolic of the faithful, abundant, steadfast, and sacrificial love of Christ for His Church.
